Eating out
This is a list of any and every place I know of or have been informed about that does tasty vegetarian food. Not just any old food but proper well thought out food that will delight and satisfy a vegetarian foody!
As this is my list and I'm always complaining that there's nowhere much to eat out it's a very short list, but with your help we can build it into a huge resource. Please contact me with details of any restaurant anywhere in the world and supply a sample menu - without that I won't publish it as I need to know what they cook that's special.

Shropshire
The Old Orleton, Wellington, Telford - This is a restaurant that cooks meat dishes as well, but their vegetarian choice although small is delicious. Unfortunately it's expensive with two course at £21.95 and three at £26.95, but in this case you get what you pay for.

with colcannon potatoes, baby onions and redcurrant gravy
butternut & welsh cheese filo pouch
creamy goats cheese and roasted squash with cranberry compote and buttered parsnip puree
Dessert
vanilla crème brulée with sweet chilli pineapple and crisp shortcake
mocha-coffee and amaretto trifle with mascarpone and honey glazed walnuts
rich dark chocolate rum and raisin pavé with double cream white chocolate ice cream
rumtopf fruits with lemon ice boozy fruit cocktail served warm with sugar waffles
chef’s apricot brandy bread & butter pudding with double cream vanilla pod icecream
iced passion fruit parfait with mango & pawpaw salad in ginger liquor
