Marrow - Zucchini
Very young vegetable marrows may be boiled whole and unpeeled for about 15 minutes.
Drain carefully and serve with melted butter.
Large marrows must be peeled and the seeds removed.
Cut into even-sized pieces and cook in boiling water until tender—20-30 minutes.
Drain well, and serve sprinkled with brown crumbs or with white or cheese sauce.
Marrows may also be baked whole (peeled or unpeeled), and stuffed with any good savoury filling — allow about 1 hour in a moderate oven (350" F.).
Cover the marrow with greased greaseproof paper.
