Cauliflower
Wash thoroughly; remove outermost leaves if necessary, but leave some leaves on.
Cut across the stalk. 
Put the cauliflower into boiling salted water and cook for 20-30 minutes.
You can also cut rheough the base of the cauliflower to separate the florets which makes it cook that much quicker if you prefer.
Dressed Cauliflower
Cook a cauliflower (as above), hard-boil 2 eggs and make 1/2 pint white sauce.
Divide cauliflower into sprigs, put in a hot dish with the cut-up hot eggs, reserving a little yolk.
Pour the sauce over, and garnish with sieved egg yolk and chopped parsley.
