Veggie Bagel Sandwich
This makes a nice lunchbox sandwich as the bagel doesn't go soggy like ordinary bread. It's delicous and filling anytime though
Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 tbsp. garlic powder
1/2 to 3/4 tbsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. mustard powder
1/2 tsp. sweet basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tbsp dried onion flakes
Method
Mix everything together in a small bowl.
Taste it and adjust seasonings to how you like it.
Put cream cheese back in the tub after finishing mixing, then if you can wait put it in the fridge for 24 hours so all the flavours infuse together.
Choose your favourite type of bagel and cut it in two.
Sandwich filling
Diced Vidalia Onions - or spring onions, red onions or any onion you like
Sliced Radishes
Sliced Cucumber
Sliced Tomatoes
Sprouts e.g. Alfalfa
A leaf of iceberg lettuce
Spread the cream cheese mixture all over the bagel insides.
Now spread with the chopped onions, pressing into the cheese mixture to save spillage!
Layer slices of tomato, cucumber and radish slices, top it off with the sprouts, and finaly place a piece of lettuce on top.
