Macaroni Tomatoes

Ingredients

This meal is easy for children to make and they have fun eating it is well.

Four beefsteak tomatoes.


2 tsp oil
One small onion, finely chopped
One clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp mustard powder
Pinch of paprika
Two drops of Tabasco sauce
Salt and pepper
100 g cheddar cheese, grated
100 g of macaroni, cooked and drained

Method

Cut the tops off of the tomatoes, and scoop out the centres to leave a thin wall of flesh in each.

Place the pulp in a small saucepan with the oil, onion, garlic, mustard, paprika, Tabasco and seasoning.

Cover and cook over a low heat, for 10 minutes until pulpy.

Press through a sieve and mix with the cheese and macaroni.

Divide the mixture between the tomatoes and Place the lids on top.

Bake them for 15 to 20 minutes until the tomatoes are soft and the macaroni is beginning to brown.

Serve at once.
