Coleslaw
Salad wouldn't be salad without a tangy coleslaw. It's so easy to make that there's no excuse not to provide a home-made one for your family.
Ingredients
350g (12oz) white cabbage
1 large carrot
1 small onion
50g (2oz) sultanas (optional)
3 rounded tbsps mayonnaise
Seasonings to taste
Method
Add all ingredients except sultanas to a food processor.
Using the pulse setting, chop the vegetables until they are coarsely shredded.
Place in a bowl with the mayonnaise and sultanas and mix thoroughly.
Season to taste.
You can also add some drained, tinned mandarin orange segments or pineapple chunks for a change.
