Chocolate mousse
A delicious chocolate mousse made without eggs. It's very rich and satisfying.
Ingredients
2 c heavy (double) cream
3 oz unsweetened chocolate
½ c sugar
Method
Finely chop the chocolate and place in bowl.
Heat ½ c cream in saucepan over medium heat, until almost boiling.
Take off the heat quickly and pour over the chopped chocolate, stir once, cover, and set aside.
Whip remaining cream and sugar in another bowl until they form soft peaks.
Stir the chocolate mixture until all is melted and well incorporated, then fold in the cream.
Chill for at least 2 hours.
